To take people back to the timeline, Namma Veedu Vasanta Bhavan has come up with a vintage concept restaurant VB Heritage. Located right opposite to the open Kapaleeshwarar temple tank, the restaurant was designed with ambience to reflect the temple town of Mylapore to bring refreshing culinary experience.

Guest will have a enthralling environment welcomed by intricate kolam and floral design theme to bring in homely feel, childhood experience, VB Heritage boast with 70 seater capacity by traditional work yet is new, modern and maintainable. It does not stop here. VB Heritage focuses on bringing in some of the healthy and traditional dishes like Chola paniyaram, Ellu podi Dosai, illai Adai, Godhumai Pongal, Ulundhan kali, Chola paniyaram, Palakkai Briyani, Karupatti Pongal, Paanagam which are traditional at South India.

In many ways, VB Heritage is designed to promote a traditional palace feel with Rich Benares fabrics with the use of bevelled mirrors, karaikudi flooring and with wooden tables with fabric seatings with the peacock theme. VB Signature is the first concept vegetarian restaurant from Namma Veedu Vasanta Bhavan showcasing vegetarian food at its finest. It is a contemporary vegetarian restaurant by having a fusion of Western flavours in Indian food. To break stereotypes of having lean choice of vegetarian dishes, VB Signature has got some unique dishes of its own namely VB Signature Mysore Pak crumble, VB Signature version tiramisu called "Milan to Madras" Rasagulla soaked in South Indian filter coffee served with cream, Peanut Pesto Vadai, Panai Vellam Cheese Cake, Mushroom Methi Matar Malai, Malai Tikka, Tandoori Momo, etc .. to name a few. VB Signature is also first of its kind to experient Nitrogen gas in food. Dragon smoke popcorn, Nitrogen Basundi which is made by the chef right at in front of the guest.

With VB Signature, we are aiming to give a new vegetarian experience by fusing Indian food to western flavours. This will also allow us to test ourselves for the readiness to an international market. Vasanta Bhavan is a chain of speciality vegetarian restaurant started in the year 1969 by Mr.A. Muthukrishnan at Trichirappali. We became famous for serving quality vegetarian food with excellent taste with great care on health and hygiene. Our strength is to serve tasty food at economical prices. We constantly innovate to improve our business model to customer needs.

Aspiring to have better operation and ace up our service, we incorporated ourselves as Vasanta Bhavan Hotels India Private limited in November 2003. Our registered office is located at No.33, Gandhi Irwin Road, Egmore, Chennai - 600008, Tamilnadu.

With over 16 franchises across Tamilnadu, we serve more than 30,000 customers across all our restaurants in a day. Our kitchen is fully equipped and well maintained. Tambaram and Egmore facilities in Chennai has got sweet production units.

"My father was a foward thinking and hard working. He travelled a lot to taskte food" says Ravi. In 1969, when Tamil Nadu was still known for idli, dosa, thaiyir sadam and filter coffee, Vasanta Bhavan introduced Lassi, Chhole, roti and Badam milk in their menu. During the year 1974, Vasanta Bhavan set foot in chennai for the first time by opening opposite to Chennai egmore railway station. Young and dynamic Ravi wanted to move from the confines of trichy to chennai. And he wanted it to do it for good. That year was 1991.

Ravi wanted a new restaurent identity that would strike chords with the diners " The food we serve is as good as what their mother would make them at home". Namma Veedu Vasanta Bhavan serves foods including re-created village receipes. Today's youngster forgotten traditional dishes and some have not even tasted Jeeraga Sambha pongal, Raagi dosa, Jowar Dosa, Kambu Dosa etc which are rich in nutrients. We are re-creating them and spreading awareness" says Ravi. Namma veedu Vasanta Bhavan outlet do not use colouring agents, MSG or used oil. Fresh vegetables, sourced centrally are cleared scientifically, sterlized, packaged and sent to each outlet.

Today, we proudly say that Namma Veedu Vasanta bhavan is the only restuarent chain to have the ISO 22000:2005 for its cnetal kitchen in chennai.
